It took me three tries and about an hour to marry Wraeth. I got Blenda, the first try. I committed hare kare the second time, when Blenda was inevitable again. The third try was successful. It probably goes without saying, that if you accept a proposal from someone else, then you're not going to marry Wraeth =).

When I went to bed you were still three seconds behind on ch11, Agius, so I knew it was only inevitable =). Congrats, man. I played through ch14 and did improve my time 30 secs with your strategy, but that's still not close enough to be a challenge.

It's very pleasing to me that this game, though more than a year old on the Xbox Live Arcade, is still showing new tricks and can be improved by new and more efficient strategies. Taking all the #1s is an amazing feat, Agius. That was a MUCH harder achievement than marrying Wraeth =).

Speaking of achievements, is it possible to ever lose an achievement? Or to create an achievement that expires over time?

Back to the game...

Yeah, I'm astonished that somebody is coming in and swiping #1 spots after all this time.

I don't think it's possible to lose an achievement!

Anyone else making any progress with the contest? I don't want spoilers, but you could post here letting us know if you've got it figured out...

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to lose an achievement. I mean, 360voice.com would probably explode if you could lose points.

I totally don't have it figured out yet...

I am writing stuff as I go, but so far it seems I am getting everything she wants, but gaining nothing. Maybe I am missing something.

Does doing one thing before another affect the outcome at all? For example, if I make higher buildings down the Trade tree before the Social tree, would it affect anything?

Also, does talking to one person about something affect Wraeth's decision? Just so I can know when getting notes, trying to find what all she wants.

I did the same thing yesterday, I talked to no one, gave her everything, but always ended up with Blenda. I'll try again later.

EDIT: I got Ann this past time to ask me out and ended up having 4 children with her . Gotta love those quiet librarians... The only question, and I hope it's answerable, is do I have to have Wraeth ask me out on Level 3 to progress with her?

Zee: Congrats!

Yeah, I think it's fair to answer a couple of those high-level questions:

1. If you haven't gotten (and accepted) a dating offer from the specific girl you're pursuing by the end of level 3, you're out of luck with her.

2. Yes, a conversation with one person can affect things with other people, positively or negatively.

3. In some cases, the order you do things matters.

Good, because I did not want her anyway!...was in response to Zee...

Thanks for the input Stay...I guess I gotta keep on truckin'.

Does the text :

Here's a poem you inspired:
Black Hole spins, devouring all
Matter binding to the fall
Inward screaming, mute I call
None can hear the crushing pall.

Appear at all?

In level 4 or 5.

Hi all, just sent my pic off, hopefully i have made third place. To daniel and Zee: was getting that really easy once you know what is required, no need for build patterns after level 1. I made it far too complicated at first and wasted loads of time, once you take the simple approach it is a walk in the park.

Also, i got the long ending with a nice story, does that need to be a perfect run or could i have made any mistakes and still got that?

Lastly, that poem is in level 4

After the minimalist approach failed, I tried a maximist approach. I built everything and talked to every girl in the way I thought she wanted me to respond. I built in an orderly fashion, all level ones, then all level twos, etc. I did built an Arcade as my first level-two building in the first level, since I knew Wraeth liked it. But I don't have any evidence that it made a difference.

I experiemented with the endings a bit and it seems that you have to run the final level perfectly, if not the previous level also. When I knew there was two endings, I was hoping that treating her badly in the final two chapters might show a break-up ending. No such luck lol. Wraeth still agreed to marry me even though I created a pink, fluffy, cat-infested home, and gave her a PDA in the previous level and forgot what her name meant lol.

For level one i found that building the arcade first meant that wreath responded by liking you meeting the other girls requirements and asking for the extra one at the end. If you did the other requirements first, i didn't get her to ask for it.

That's pretty neat when you think about it like that: Wraeth likes it when you are nice to other girls. Quite counter-intuitive.

Yeh thats what confused me at first. Its a very clever approach of ninjabee, they know how women work and a logical approach doesn't work, you need a simple one, where you just constantly give them all everything they want. lol. Should of realised that would be the key from the off.

Also to Stay, your earlier clarification that you need to finalise your marriage by level 3 is slightly off, i turned down ann and accepted a date with poppy on level 3, then on level 4 ann came back to ask for a date and i accepted and Poppy dumped me so i ended up marrying Ann and had 4 children as well, didn't know what i'd got myself into!

Therefore i think it would be technically accurate not to include "(and accepted)" lol.

Well good job everyone... I didn't spend a ton of time on the contest, but now I am mad that I was doing it the opposite way the entire time... :P

I figure I will marry her tomorrow sometime just to see the ending. Now that I know how easy it seems to marry her, it shouldn't take that long.
