I am enjoying the Next Food Network Star . Not sure why, but I just enjoy cooking shows.

Chuck, Boardwalk Empire, NBC's Thursday night lineup.
That's about it for me.

I've kind of been watching Chase and The Event after Chuck, but I'm not really feeling them.

Lately, I only watch shows on Netflix Instant Watch.

I'm so happy Better Off Ted Season 2 is available now. I love that show. I want to have its babies.

Alymon - I would do Boardwalk empire, but no HBO right now.

@Stay what is Better off Ted about? What makes it good in your eyes.

Mostly, the thing about Better off Ted is it's laugh-out-loud hilarious. Great characters, great dialogue, great delivery, fantastic timing. It's the funniest scripted TV show I've seen in a long time.

for me Chuck and Survivor have been the best for me this season ... While going to school I have been catching up on the weekends with my DVR ...

Psych is what I am loving.

I recently went through all 10 seasons of Stargate: SG1 and now I am on season 4 of SG: Atlantis. I am looking forward to the next season of SG: Universe to hit netflix. The only thing about Universe is that it takes more than notes from Battlestar Galactica.

One show I have to recommend is Charlie Jade. It is hard to find it but it's out there. It is a South African show that NBC deemed too smart for U.S. audiences. It isn't like it has lots of science or like it is hard to follow but whatever. It is only twenty episodes long but I really loved it. It is of course SciFi if you couldn't guess by my other mentioned shows (excluding Psych)

I've really been loving Psych. I'm only in season 2.

I started watching SG-1 from the start, and I guess it's not very compelling to me, since I promptly forgot about it.

You will be pleasantly surprised with season 2 of Stargate Universe as it good :) ... I just wish they would stop doing half seasons and taking a break and then bringing it back ...

When I am not watching Star Trek, I like to sit down to Good Eats, Challenge, and Chopped off of the Food Network. I had watched Food Detectives but those ceased to be amusing. I used to watch Emeril Live but I think he moved on. Probably a good thing because his squeaky noise he has been making for the last couple years is annoying and he spends more time burning food than cooking it.

I was watching Chasing Mummies off History Channel but I haven't seen any new ones in ages. I am back watching Modern Marvels now that they are making new shows again.

Sigh, network TV is really dying a slow death. Nothing interesting, nothing new, no imagination. I don't like reality (which are about as far from reality as you can get) shows, dancing or singing shows, self centered talking heads of the politically biased network news that don't cover anything relevant or important (in most cases).

Laugh In, Carol Burnet, Dick Van Dyke, Smothers Brothers, Red Skelton varieity shows. They had something different every show. They kept the audience entertained with new and imaginative skits and routines. Thats gone in today's TV. All the shows are the same now. Seen one Wizards of Waverly Place, you seen all of em. Same with Lost. 24. House. La Law. Sonny with a Chance. Zoey. Even Monk which I used to love, became monotonous and repetitive. Its all the same crapload of recycled overused plots. Its even worse with the teen shows that I see my granddaughter watching. I swear, if prisoners were forced to watch these shows, the ACLU would be all up in arms about the torchure tactics.

I have absolutely ZERO respect for any current TV cartoon animators. They have NO ability. NO talent. Obviously NO motivation. Where did the talent go that did Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Land before Time, Bullwinkle, Smurfs, Yogi Bear, Jonny Quest, Felix, Tailspin and Loony Toons? Did they all die with their secrets of animation and nobody knows how they did it? All the cartoons now look totally untalented and boring. Blocky, no detail, flat, cut and paste. Its all computer generated with little human talent. The voices are screechy and annoying. Thank God for Boomerang or kids would never see good cartoons. The master artists are gone. The tweeners have retired. Nobody has taken their place. Technology has and its a poor substitute. No. Computerized is NOT better. Not with animation anyway.

Sigh... Maybe I can find something to watch on Netflix.

I quite like watching the vampire diaries but I've always liked South Park and Top gear.

I don't have cable tv, most everything I watch is streamed via Hulu/Netflix or downloaded.
This list depends primarily on time of year, but generally I don't miss these shows...

Sunday
    True Blood ( summer )

Monday
    Chuck
    House
    Castle
    Weeds

Tuesday
Stargate Universe ( cancelled, on last 10 episodes )
    Caprica ( cancelled )

Thursday
    Grey's Anatomy
    Burn Notice
    The Vampire Diaries
    Spartacus:Blood and Sand

Saturday
    Merlin

Some other shows I enjoy watching when I get an opportunity...
    Firefly
    Stargate SG-1
    Stargate Atlantis
    Farscape
    Deadliest Catch
    American Chopper
    Ghost Hunters/International/Academy
    Any Star Trek series.

I pretty much have every one of these shows on dvd as they become available. Between my dvd collection and Netflix/Hulu streaming, I rarely run out of stuff to watch.
