Well I have done everything in the game except build the giant gift and the blue sack is misssing. I heard you get it off a quest from ratbeard early on to build an ice house or something which i never got asked to do. im guessing that the missing blueprint also as its suppoed to unlock after building the metal trader.

dont really want to start again

I've had this exact same problem with the blue sack gift as well. Also, a few people on other forums have posted this issue. I haven't seen any sort of official response yet. I'm with you though, I don't want to have to play through the whole game again just to complete the final blue print.

Official Response: Yes, it's a bug. I'm very sorry about this, and we'll fix it as soon as we can. I don't have a workaround. We're still looking, but don't have a solution yet besides starting over or getting a saved game from another player over Live. The trick is doing the side quests before going back to the ice kingdom or building the airship...

I have the same problem, missing the blue sack gift.


But i also have a line of missing things that may very well be the reason for not having the blue sack gift.

First off i am missing 1 of the books for the schools (have to keep breaking one of them down and using the book to finish one of them when i need to make a kefling) which i'm guessing since i don't have both schools done that i'm missing a building (one right next to the gatehouse on the blueprint page) which i'm sure is the building that gives the blue sack gift.


Other than these issues i'm loving the game.

My issue is exactly the same - I'm missing the Blue Sack gift, a book used in the School/University, and the blueprint for the structure to the right of the Gatehouse. This is rather disappointing considering the 9.5 hours I spent on the game only to find out at the very end, that I cannot finish it. I am not too excited to make another run through the game - hopefully a solution will be made available soon.

Tbh i think the issue we all are having is going too far into the forest area before you go back to the ice area. I noticed i was at like chapter 6 and when i did go back to the ice kingdom (had a few quests in the forest kingdom i didn't do yet) and it said chapter 3 then once i completed the ice area and went back to the forest kingdom it kicked off when i should have been when i went back to the ice kingdom and when i got to the part i was at before i went there it skipped those parts completely since i already did them thus losing out on those quests completely.


A simple lock so that you can't do things outside of the story or put in counter measures incase you skip something. And could add a free play mode that bypasses the story all together and you have everything from the get go, kind of like the first game.

Same for me, but the official response is wrong. I have done the painting the town red quest and the chapters all went in order. I have built all the things it asked me to (except the igloo thingy)
I only have 2 books though, cant build both schools at the same time and I have harvested every item on the forest map
So, Im not sure what to do to get the blue gift, I did everything that was asked, what is to say it wont play through the same way if i have done nothhgng wrong

if ninjabee reads this i am not angry and this is not a complaint in any way.

I have the same issue, and also love the game.

I also have the same problem with only having 2 books and i cant build the building at the end due to not having the blue sack

there also one building in the forest tech tree i cant build near the bridges, also i did the paint shop task fine

if needed i have know how to send my save file to ninjabee to help resolve this problem if needed

OK, first of all, you're right - I was wrong about what caused this. The cause according to people looking into it here seems to be that you build the Metal Trader and THEN unlocked scoobs (broke him out of his crystal). The game expected that to happen in the reverse order (first scoobs and then metal trader).

Good News: We're working on a fix for this that could be live within a week or two! I can't promise a particular date so please don't yell at me if there's a delay. We're trying to do testing on it, and people are gone for the holidays. The cool part is that we're planning on fixing it through TMS, so you won't have to wait for the (very long and painful) process of a full title update.

Again, I'm only telling you this to give you some hope and let you know we're working on it - please don't scream at me and accuse me of intentionally ruining your life when we hit the inevitable complications and delays.
