I would like to know if you will release the game on iphone after the PC version ? It should be really nice to look after our kingdom during the day on our mobile.

The iPhone is a tough market in which to stand out. Just making a good game isn't enough - it also takes luck and marketing and integrating additional technologies... We need to figure out if it would really be worth it. And it would take a lot of effort - definitely not enough power on the iPhone to run anything close to AKFK without a complete revamp of assets, and we wouldn't just do a port, we'd do something like we did with the Windows version of AKFK (releasing soon!) which was basically a heavy redesign of the control scheme.

While we're on the topic, any interest in Android or Windows Phone 7 versions of our games?

Its a bit sad to say, but MS may have suckered me into a Windows phone rather than Android just for the inclusion of my XBL Profile. Still wait and see so far on that front but at the end of the year, I will be getting a new phone.

If devs like you support the platform, I am sure there will be a market there. Hexic on my phone just won't cut it.

My wife is picking up an ipad when it comes out. So any chance the ipad would work for the AKFK game? You could stream line the game some with out ruining the greatness of it. I know I would buy it for her ipad with or without her knowing.

The iPad is supposed to run iPhone apps with no trouble, so I expect it will work fine! (I haven't tried it yet)

So does this mean you really want to make it an iPhone app for us

Haha, geeze, I'm a dork. I was thinking the Kaloki games on the iPhone would work great on the iPad. I totally spaced that you were talking about AKFK, not Kaloki. In theory if we did make an iPhone version, we would certainly make sure it worked on the iPad.

I would very much like to *have* an iPhone version of AKFK, but I don't want to spend the money to make one. (See above).

I know I all ready bought Outpost K for itouch

It's name is "We rule" and it is pretty cool, but i prefer AKFK which is really better.

Does anyone know if the game will be available on new iPhone 4S?
