Just wanted to thank you guys for doing this. I honestly never expected a sequel. I assumed, after the DLC, you guys were working on a new IP. I am so glad to see this. My girlfriend and I play Keflings together and that meant her in the living room and me in the office. We like to game together but like different styles. This was the game that we both loved. With KfK, we would actually take turns watching each other play just to spend time together in the same room. I am extremely great-full I no longer have to play from the other room to play with her. And even better we get to play a new game together from the beginning.
Thanks guys!

You're welcome!
I've been surprised by the number of people talking about the local multiplayer feature. It's been a lot of work, so I'm very happy to see people getting excited about it!

I mean playing online is a wonderful feature, and it's fun to play with others all around the world. But the fundamentals of gaming come down to the interactions of playing with others in the same room as you. Nothing beats siting down with a friend or family member in a room, playing a great local player game. It brings people back to the days of the NES, SNES, and ARCADES where local co-op thrived! I believe most if not ALL of the community is very happy about this feature.

I, too, wish to echo excitement over local play. I spend as much time playing with family as I do with "strangers" on live. I have two xbox 360s, 3 modded xbox originals and 2 PS2s scattered between the living room, bed room and a computer room. Playing with friends or family at the house is a big part of our gaming. I wish more games supported local networks without a gold live account (though I and my two oldest granddaughters have gold accounts).

I'm actually a little worried about your case, Wolfie... We support 2 players in local multiplayer, and we support up to 4 players online, but not at the same time. I.e. you can either play local multiplayer OR you can play online. So, for you to play with your two granddaughters at once you'll still have to play over Xbox LIVE... Now do you hate me?

Nope. Just build me a banner tower and its all good I fully expected this behavior, its not normal that games combine lan play and live/internet play. It seems wrong to limit to 2 local though. Really? You mean the host and client (2 total) or do you mean host and 2 clients (3 total)?

Ah, well, by "Local Multiplayer" I mean the new feature: single-screen single-xbox play. (dynamic split-screen). THAT is limited to 2 players on one xbox.
Xbox LIVE play still supports 4 players.
(This is all for the Xbox version - who knows what we'll do eventually on the PC...)
