I really enjoyed OKX on Xbox Live Arcade. The main appeal is that it was something different and unique. There are currently no Xbox 360 games like Void War out. Any chance that we'd see this ported to the Xbox 360 and made available on XBLA like OKX was?

Aw, gawsh guys Glad you like it!
We actually did talk about it a couple of times. If the time is right and everyone involved (Microsoft, Rampant Games, and Ninjabee) thought it made sense, I think all of us would be happy to see Void War on the 360. Biggerbetterbadder, of course.

too bad you can't
but i think there should be once you get a contract with microsoft you should be able to put how many games down you want without microsoft needing to say yes. but i can understand why they dont let you. but they should at least make it a bit easyer to put them in.

Thanks Coyote, this is excellent to hear. I just found your website (thanks to Outpost Kaloki X on the 360) and loaded VW. It's exactly what I've been wanting for a long long time: a quick and easy space shooter a la Wing Commander or X-Wing, but with simple controls and pick-up-and-play gameplay. I'd LOVE to play it on the big screen with 360 controls.
You're way ahead of any semblance of competition IMHO. Scripted storylines (like in Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Star Wars Starfighter, Colony Wars, and even M$'s own Crimson Skies) are neat, but they're annoying to play more than once, killing replay value, and my opinion, fun.
I love the style of your game. No one quite nails it the way you did here. It's more like Starmaster, Shadow Squadron, and Battlesphere -- which is GREAT. Storylines and set pieces are OK, but ACTION is where it's at. Online multiplayer in a game like this would be a dream come true.
I would be all over this in a second if you were to release it on XBOX Live Arcade. The only game that comes even close to it is Crimson Skies and the upcoming WWII flying game for 360. If M$ were to go for it, I think they'd have an enourmous hit on their hands.
Can't you just tell us that the port is done and that you're just waiting for M$ to release it at the right time!?

I agree. If he is a bot, then I've deleted all his posts. If he's a real person who is just weird, then ... uh ... there was some strangely selective data loss and all his posts disappeared. Sorry about that.

Please bring this game to xbla! Not only is there a dearth of new 3d space shooters, but this games multi would be perfect for xbla.

So, does the announcement of the Wing Commander game sorta eliminate the possibility of Void War coming over to XBLA?
(Let's just put aside the sucktastic video of the Wing Commander Arcade game that's out there and how they ruined everything good about Wing Commander and focus at the question at hand... ... ... on second thought, nevermind...rant away!)
