I've done a little looking, and haven't yet found anything addressing this...could be that its late for me as I type this, and I'm simply not seeing it.

I finished running through the game a second time, and decided that I wanted to do a good deal of customizing of my kingdom. Unfortunately, as I was playing today, I was told that I could not build the piece I needed because I had reached the maximum number of built pieces, and that I would need to destroy components.

My first thought was that the Castle Workshop had a maximum number of pieces it could build before it was "used up". I razed it to the gound and rebuilt it with no luck...noticing in the process that I could no longer build from any workshop without first clearing other components.

Am I correct in understanding that there is a maximum number of components that can be constructed? If so, then it seems that I've truely finished the game, which would be kind of sad.

Thanks for the great game Ninja Bee...highly addictive!

There is a limit to the number of components allowed to exist in the world. If you want to do more customization you can destroy buildings (and their components) to free up more slots for you. I think the limit is something like 550 components, including those that exist in buildings. We had to put in the limit so we wouldn't run the Xbox out of memory... :)

I too ran into the "end" of the game wishing that I could continue customizing as I wished. I would have been more prepared for finishing the game if say a count-down of number of items that could be built were included. Possibly making the resources finite instead of have the infinite resource borders, so you would know that you have only so many items that you will be able to build would have prepared me for the end as well.

Thanks for listening to us on the forums.

Ah yes, I can see how that might be somewhat shocking. The counter is a good idea. We totally should have done that! :)

I think the real problem is that we *thought* no one would ever really hit the limit and that if they did they would have built enough in the game to not feel like they were limited. We clearly should have play tested this aspect more. We have to have *some* kind of limit in there and we thought we had set it super high. I'm actually surprised so many people hit the limit. I guess we underestimated how much people would really like the game. So it's cool that people like the game enough to hit it but sad that they actually hit it. Not sure if that made any sense...but...POST...er...SUBMIT.
