I was wondering how long Nintendo can go on talking about innovations, and not letting indy game developers use there platform. But instead release old straight ports.

Yeah, Nintendo should've paid Rareware a lot of money, but they didn't so now they have less great games.

Well, Rare is probably at the low point of their history, sans-Viva Pinata. Nothing original coming out of them these days.

I really, really miss their days on the N64 with all of those classics like Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Banjo-Kazooie 1 and 2, etc..
So many awesome and timeless classics they were pumping out and it was great. If they screw up the new Banjo-Kazooie game, I am going to find the team who made it and show them my... disappointment personally.
But let's just hope that doesn't happen and the game turns out just as great as the first two.
(And for the love of all that is holy, Rare, do NOT get voice actors for the characters in BK! The mumbling needs to stay!!)

The founders of rare were quiting around perfect dark. Thus why Nintendo didn't buy them when they were selling there shares, and why the games have been sub par to rares work. Once (or IF) rare gets over the hill of losing there founders they should start pumping out the big hitters.

Perfect Dark Zero wasn't as bad as everyone blamed it to be. I only recently bought it (cause it is now cheaper than Lumines Live), and I can't say it's that bad. It's not exceptional, it's not the best FPS on the 360, but it is enjoyable, varied and the bot feature is awesome, and no one seems to support it any longer. The combat arena is lots of fun, the weapons have a nice feel and nothing technical is all that bad.
I just think people had too high expectations for it...
Sorry if this was off-topic, but I just thought I'd defend Rare a bit

No subliminal messaging needed since technically their mothership (Wahoo Studios) is releasing Space Station Tycoon on the Wii. But I know that technically you're discussing WiiWare, but still.
As for Rare, it is easy for Perfect Dark Zero to not be as bad as everyone said because people hated that game like it was their job. I personally had a lot of fun with it. I wish I didn't have a million other games to play because exploring all the different mission paths woulda been cool. (There were way more options than I thought after playing all the way through the game.)
I love Viva Pinata (though I need to play it much much more), and I too am looking forward to Banjo Threeie. And if they get rid of the mumbling, I might have to kill someone.

I agree completely.

Only because there were no good console FPSs at that time. The competition is much tougher, and if you look around, you won't find many "exceptional" FPSs on the consoles any longer. I love Call of Duty 2, but it is not that outstanding. The same with Rainbow Six Vegas (which is a hybrid between third and first person really).
When saying whether a game is "better", people should remember that things are relative...

First off... Please put NinjaBee games on WiiWare! I want an excuse (other than Space Station Tycoon) to play my Wii!
Now onto PDZ... It was my first 360 game, and it was alright I guess. Having no fanboy expectations based on Perfect Dark (I played it only a couple times) it just was average. The story was good the first part, but just got weird in the last few levels... I guess if I knew the story from Perfect Dark it would make more sense.
Multiplayer was still awesome for me! I had tons of fun playing matchmaking, even playing against bots in skirmish matches.
The achievements do make me angry... Lowest gamerscore total for a retail game I own. (Besides CoD 2 which I haven't had long, and maybe DDR Universe)
