MS has a casual gaming site up now. Normally I wouldn't care except the games give you 10-20 points each...again normally I still wouldn't care, but some of the prizes include:
Fable for xbox 2500 tickets
PGR3 2500 tickets
Kameo 2500 tickets
Vista Ultimate Edition 6000 tickets
Office 2007 9000 tickets
Zune 20,000 tickets
360 (it doesn't actually say which version) 35,000 tickets
...and some other random mostly crap.
Between my girlfriend and I we have acquired just shy of 800 tickets in a day (mostly while watching TV). Since I am not willing to pay real money for Vista, but also know I will be forced to upgrade to it I am taking the cheapskates way of getting it. Maybe Office too if I feel really motivated...or if I can teach a squirrel to play for me...or a breed a pygmy moose for tha task...hmmm
Anywho if you want some free games tickets are not that hard to get at all so 2500 tickets could easily be aquired in a week or two without much effort. May even improve your vocabulary.
All you need is a passport ID which most of you will already have anyway.

So you can just leave a game on and get points?

No you get points on completion, but there are some very easy ways to get them.
"Flexicon" is a modified crossword puzzle and takes a few minutes (as in 2-3) to do for 25 points. There is a Live Search function on the bottom half to look up the answers even (as well as hints). Looking something up doesn't dock you any points either.
There is a chicken game which is a modified version of scramble which is also rather fast to do and worth 20 points. If you get stuck on this goto scrabble.com 's letter arrange helper program to fill in black spots.
Those two are the fastest for me point/time wise. You can leave the puzzels open as long as you want also. This is good since I just left myself logged in while my girlfriend did puzzels while on hold today.
Normally I don't do crap like this, but this is MS giving away full version of Office and Vista which is a rather significant chunk of change in my wallet. Even more so since I am returning to college this fall and Office would be nice to have.
Edit for typos, too bad they don't have an option of typing tutorial software as a redemption :/

Use Firefox, it has a built in spell checker. It is quite the time-saver.

Wow, the new Live Passport sign in is WAY better than .NET Passports used to be. It is hell trying to switch between my e-mail address and the e-mail address associated with my Xbox Live account. Doesn't even include the other people who use this computer!!!
The site looks promising. I might try to get Vista Ultimate for that price. If I spend all summer I bet I could get something. I noticed you can get songs. How much are those? If they are reasonable, that makes legal downloading a lot cooler!

Do at least 9 puzzels a day (not all at once even) and you can get vista in a month. That is my plan. 3 while drinking coffee, 3 at lunch and 3 sometime before I sleep. I do crosswords out of newspapers daily anyway though.
Going to be breeding a pygmy moose on the side though still, but that is just incase I suddenly decide I want a Zune (my iPod is dying) and Office.
Edit: anyone get the NYT Crosswords for DS yet? Haven't found a complete review so far

Is this completely legitimate? I have seen some spelling and wording errors on various things around that site so I am suspicious. It also seems way too good to be true considering I can use an anagram solver on one of the games to get 20 tickets every 1 or 2 minutes. Between 2-4 hours and I have a new game. That seems way too easy.

Well, I was already logged in when I went there. I am permanently logged into my live account, so when I went there, I did not need add any personal details. It's legit. It will take me ages to do anything on there though.

Wow, well, I guess I'll get to it then!
Does anybody know how good Kameo is? I can get enough tickets to purchase it but I do not want to waste them. Also, any ideas on when/if they refresh their stock of games?

Kameo is fun, but rental fun. If you're gonna get that many points, might as well stock up for something better.

In case your wondering how Microsoft is getting money out of this is in 2 ways.
1. Every time you open the window it also opens windows search, opening traffic to it. Meaning everytime your own the site and or search for something on the search. Giving money to Microsoft, by ads or wanting to be on the search.
2. It opens the casual gaming market Microsoft wants for the 360.
