Ah, I love gamer addictions. And achievements are my crack!

For me the list is like this:
Viva Pinata -- Needs lots of TLC...been neglected too long.
Crackdown -- Addicting and I still want more achievements...that or I'll just blow people up and jump off the agency tower a bunch of times for fun (talk about Vertigo!!).
Halo 3 Beta -- Haven't taken advantage of it *that* much but I should get some games in this weekend. I look forward to the final release definitely. But I'm also enthralled by the story (unlike most people).
Eets: Chowdown -- Need to finsh that up too. And trying to get 1,000,000 on Marsho Madness is killing me. I've broken 800,000 2 or 3 times. And then those other achievements will be a time consumer.
Pac-Man CE -- got all the achievements yesterday but it's fun as hell! Must play more!
Castlevania SOTN -- Um, talk about neglect...yikes.
Aegis Wing -- Need some achievements!
Assault Heroes -- Gotta polish those last two achievements off.
Alien Hominid -- Got a couple more points to get (still pissed about the save game glitch since I sent my console in for repair...grrrr!)
Catan -- Must...play...thousands of games. For fun *and* profit.
Guitar Hero II -- need to get 5 stars on 7 more songs to finish 5 Star Hard Tour achievement. Then I need to work on some serious co-op!
Burnout Revenge -- I swear one of these days I'll get those last two signature takedowns!
Rockstar Table Tennis -- picked it up for $20 even though I played the hell out of it a long time ago from GameFly. Need to take that online...so fun!
Fuzion Frenzy 2 -- Gotta get my friend to come over a play some games. And get some achievements. And try not to hate hearing that stupid announcer guy.
Mutant Storm Reloaded -- I probably won't *beat* Black-belt...but I'd like to at least *qualify* for black belt to get the achievement. (And where the hell is Empire?!?)
Robotron 2084 -- needs some love but not a priority. Used to play this game on my Atari Lynx obsessively.
Time Pilot -- Last achievement is killing me...damn you!!!
Dead Rising -- too much to possibly accomplish before I give it back to my friend...oh well.
Frogger -- here's hoping stay is still up for helping me out with my last two achievements...cause I *need* help.
And many more games (Kameo, DOA4, Gears, etc.) in which I'd like to polish off a couple achievements here and there.

Ambitious. Of course.
Possible. Yes.
Totally whacked out insane. Absolutely!

Damn it AC91...look what you made me do... :?

And then there's that stupid bug game that I'll probably waste a minute or two on when it comes out.

But when am I gonna give my DS some love...Final Fantasy III...<faints>

Even though the achievement system sucks, I still love the game, even with the campy storyline. Gotta love FMV.

Overlord is pretty fun, it is also very funny!

I bought C&C last weekend, it is awesome. However, the achievements are not stackable, so you have beat the game with all objectives on easy, medium, and hard to get all of 'em. Stupidity by EA.

See I am wondering why people don't complain that Guitar Hero is like that. It doesn't really bother me that much to go back and spend a few minutes when I am playing to unlock some easy, but I know I have the talent to do it. It seems people would complain about that stuff.

I imagine it's because of these two points, AC91:

1) Most 360 gamers are new to the series.
2) Medium and hard both earn you cash.

In GH it only takes a few minutes to do a song on a lower difficulty. Campaign games which require you to start from, the beginning are a different issue. That always feels daunting.

I am halfway through a lot of games at this point. I don't get a lot of time to play the 360 and do most my gaming on my laptop recently while at work.

Preview scanning of telecine (film) is about 1.5 hours per hour of footage, not couting changing reels and such.

Final run compositing quality "uncompressed" SDI telecine is about 5.5 hours per hour of footage (again not counting changing reels) and requires someone to verify alignment and all that stuff. Any errors or dust and such means you get to redo a section and reapply a modified timecode.

Since I am a business of one that leads to a lot of time waiting, which I like to call gaming time. :) It isn't so bad though since my studio space has air conditioning that actually functions....unlike at the apartment I just got home too where the landlord says he fixed the AC...

Well, a first for me has happened. My account on Shadowrun.com was banned for "spamming". What did I spam? Well posted the below 4 times in the last week. Yes, I did repost it after it was deleted three times without an excuse, but the postings were all separated by at least 24 hours. I feel good that my post was read by some people at least though. Some of the topics below are being constantly reposted which has netted a few dev team replies...finally.

"
Exploits in Shadowrun:
I (as well as many others) have been experiencing a rather large number of exploits while playing Shadowrun online. All posts which have countered the development teams replies have been deleted the rest have all been locked once a development team member replies or has been locked under accusations of personal attacks. While I do not condone personal attacks and they are entirely inappropriate on a public forum every lock over attacks has been a flimsy excuse and has often been long after the attacks have finished, most commonly after the development team is presented with a question they are unable to answer. Other threads have been closed for being disorganized and unfocused. This is just not proper. So let us go over it all again shall we?

The following exploits are areas of common complaint:
1. Using the “2nd Vote” to boot a member of the opposing team
2. Exploiting to use of the rocket launcher while under the effect of smoke
3. Teleporting “into” a wall clipping area for cover allowing fire out of the wall, but not into
4. Exploiting to activate Elf regeneration while under fire
5. Using a summon creature spawn ring to resurrect a “destroyed” body
6. The sniper rifle is able to fire through a select set of walls on the Dig Site map

The following technical issues are also of common complaint:
1. New player connecting crashes the host’s server
2. Leaving a game (for any reason) often returns you to the game you just left, usually repeatedly
3. Money spent while the server is “syncing” is not always depleted from the players cash on hand
4. Searching for a game will often either hang for five minutes (or more), crash the software or go into an endless loop of searching and connecting to a server
5. Server crashes losing all data toward acquiring an achievement

I understand there are always unforeseen issues with developing a piece of software. I realize that there will always be exploits which will discovered after release. Reality is there will never be an absolutely bug free piece of software, but customers deserve a proper response to their complaints. I do not expect all the answers instantly, but simply an acknowledgment and noting of the issues.

This post is free of personal attacks, does not list how to use the exploits of complaint and lists the items in an organized way.

I await your replies.
"

If you are considering purchasing it in the future my personal suggestion is to wait until these issues have been replied to. The game play is still great, but as more people learn how to use the exploits the experience is going downhill rather quickly.

Seems like this game needed some more R&D. Problems with cross-platform development, or just a hurried release?

I have been told some of these have been around since the beginning of the beta. Some are new, but the majority seem to exist since public testing...from what I have been told. I can't confirm these statements since I was not in the beta.

Due to my immense boredom I am trying to compile a group of clips showing the exploits and issues in action. Will have to edit it in such a way that it doesn't teach people how to do the actual exploits.

Edit: Guess I accomplished my goal to some extent;

Posting about Possible Exploits / Cheats
Locked
Hey folks,

We appreciate the folks who want to let us know about possible exploits and cheats. We are tracking these issues. Obviously, if there are any ways to exploit the game out in the wild, we don't want people abusing them. So if you'd like to discuss something you've seen or found in the wild, please send Rux or Fall a PM to report it and do NOT post publicly.

We will be deleting all threads / posts that discuss these issues. And a friendly reminder: deliberate use of cheats / exploits on Xbox LIVE or Games for Windows Live is grounds for a ban from the service.

Thanks for understanding.
