It's been spam-tastic in here the last two days. I deleted like 8-10 topics in the off-topic board last night (actually today since it was like 12:10 or so) and then another 7 just now a little more than 12 hours later. Wonder what's up with that?

I am on quite often and would be happy to delete some spam threads that you may have missed, or didn't get to yet. I check once a day, probably.
Just a suggestion.

Nope, I don't.
And I usually try to check once a day...but sometimes don't get around to it on the weekends. That will probably change though, now that I have the electrical situation in my apartment resolved. (Thank GOD!)
But, since you asked, it's possible that stay will give you mod privileges that thou mayest lay waste to the spam scourge of yore.

I always check like 5, 6, 7 times a day. Taco Bell. And put Lifeforce in the credits.

I delete some nearly every day as well.
I have installed a mod, made some recommended settings changes, AND require e-mail confirmation of new accounts. I'm not sure what else to do. Maybe some kind of waiting period for making a first post? Again, most of these spam are from 1-time accounts.
Thank you guys SO much for policing the forums. I really appreciate it, and it's a big deal to me since some of the spam is pretty family-unfriendly... 
GameMaster, I'll go ahead and mod you, if you'll help out with the spam. I have to dig around and remember how each time... 
I've been somewhat aggressive about the spam lately. Even if somebody makes a funny comment, I'll kill the spam if it has something offensive in it that I don't want to take the time to edit out just to keep the joke.

Between all of us on at different times of the day, surely no spam can get by? Ah, I suppose you cannot underestimate these spammers.
EDIT: Just knocked out my first two threads! That was quite satisfying. Pfft, I don't want to go to a ski resort.

I haven't been able to check a lot, but about 50% of the time that I check there are about 6-10 spam posts
a lot of times when I come check somebody just got done deleting them right before I logged on

I check nearly everyday but I hardly ever post lol (cant find anything amusing enougth to post on a spam thread and often cant think of what to post on other threads  )
