Well anyone here downloaded it yet?
It seems pretty fun and kind of like super smash bros but with more focus on shooting then meleeing (btw. I have the Six Degrees of Small Arms
achievement if anyone needs it my gamertag is Istillduno)

I downloaded it. Looks awesome. I'm considering buying it.

Played the demo but haven't decided. I like it but dunno if I wanna spend $10 on it right now. Not that it isn't worth $10...it's definitely one of the best looking arcade titles out right now...just backlogged with games still.

Good to know that I have someone to get the 6-degrees achievement from though... :D

Yeah, you're right, looks awesome.
But...I don't know, I don't like the controls in a way.
And the gameplay is sometimes not that good. In those arena with the elevators you can play minutes and minutes and nobody wins...

I played it and I think it is worth the $10. I am still not sure if I should buy though... I am waiting for this weeks arcade release to decide. I hope Roboblitz, but with my luck it is some obscure retro title (who here really wanted Scramble for Live Arcade?). I am also thinking of getting back into Oblivion and buying Knights of the Nine, but it is $10 as well.

I've heard this same sentiment a couple of times now - "It's clearly worth $10, but I might not buy it". That's how I feel, and another guy at work, as well.

I'm thinking of buying it just on principle - it's a well made game and I want to encourage high quality original XBLA games. :) At the very least my son will play it.

Microsoft should really give us timetables for releases.
And release Arcade games more often.
And NinjaBee should put Lifeforce in the credits.

My brother bought it...I did not like it though.

It feels like you can just mash buttons to win, no real skill is needed. You don't get that feeling that you are making contact with other enemies. It was cleary trying to mimic Smash Bros., but it did not play like it.

I may get the new Oblivion content as well...It retails in stores for 20 bucks. It may actually be worthwhile.

Well AC, guess your quest to wait for Roboblitz was thwarted. Too bad...I was looking forward to ANOTHER title to tempt me. Oh well...

I too think it's worth $10 but am still personally undecided. It's feels well made but I understand the "feel" criticism and also the controls are hard since you can't shoot and jump at the same time if you're not shooting in the direction you're moving...too many things for the right hand to do at once. (Unless I'm missing something?)

I know the feeling...I am about to go crazy have 1200 (exactly the amount for RoboBlitz, how ironic) points, and Small Arms is calling. I am still holding off though, since I only like playing as the ninja girl (why it's not a bee I do not know). I suck with the guns, like Lunar said. I can't get the control for them down.

Also, College Hoops finally has some UK stuff on marketplace. I might have some competition for my Cowboy Clyde pic during the basketball season. I will wait until March right now.

I think you can use the right bumper to jump as well if that helps...

It's rather disappointing there are glitches with the 50/100 wins achievements. That is to say, you have to get the last win in single player, or you can't ever get it. And the 100 wins is actually 500 wins.

YES!! I read it yesterday as a rumor somewhere, and then saw it confirmed today!!! I am still downloading the demo first, but from the videos they had on their site and what people have said (including Stay) I think it will be worth the 1200 points!

Who all is getting it? Is there any sort of multiplayer mode?
