An employee of Volition games emailed me about a correction in my OKX FAQ (He spoke very highly of the game by the way ), and he says that the limit for achievement points may actually be 1500 for full titles and 300 for arcade titles. He wasnt sure if it was verified, which is why I'm asking >_>
Something about not many games really focusing on achievement points just yet, and to reach that limit it'd have to be cleared by microsoft. Is this true?
(Oh, I did actually google his name, and it does appear he works for a game developer)

Uhhh....That is the first time I have heard that. I would normally just dismiss it and say he is wrong, but he works for a game developer...Ninja Bees?

Not NinjaBees, another game developer who makes retail games.
I googled his email and it does bring up enough information to make me believe he is for real. So I was just wondering if stay could spread some light on this >_>
I asked about a few things, and it was the only thing that was free for discussion, so it shouldnt violate any NDAs or contracts.

I'd honestly be surprised. It seems EA have trying to make its sports titles have the easiest points to obtain. Why wouldn't it have a full 1500 if that was the case?

Like I said, it has to be cleared by Microsoft and they dont want EA screwing up the system more than they already have.
That or they're going to wait until the other next gen systems come out to start releasing games with extra achievements. Whatever it was, I was told it should be somewhere in the MS documentation that some employees have to read while developing a game.

Cool! It's good to hear of other developers who like the game!
Well, if we could somehow have 300 points for Arcade titles, I would be under a SERIOUS misunderstanding with Microsoft. It's been pretty clearly stated numerous times that 200 is the limit for us, and a lot of Arcade developers would take advantage of that if we thought we could.
Naturally, I could be wrong!
But I'm not!
Though, maybe!
Except totally not!

I meant it like I was asking people at NinjaBee their comment. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
