Man, I wish. In both games, the map "editor" is image map layers (done in photoshop) + scripted data + hand-built 3d models (in 3DS Max) + more images for textures. So, it's all done by hand by artists and designers, and there really isn't an editor...

Got any instructions on how to convert these things to the map AKfK can use? I hope you are paying attention to the desire for custom maps for Warcraft2, Warcraft3, Starcraft, Torchlight, Age of Empires, Empire Earth, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, Oblivion, Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc and I hope you consider making a map editor for AKfK AND the upcoming AWOK.

I could see it all being wrapped up and presented to the public, even in its crazy image-layer state, but even that would take a while... I certainly pay attention to that stuff, but yeah, have you noticed that those are multi-zillion-dollar productions?

I have already extracted and decoded the advisors, blueprints, craft patterns and stores from AOE/O and the game just now entered beta. I am willing to work for the reward of new levels in AKfK stay wrote: Wolfie wrote: I hope you are paying attention to the desire for custom maps for Warcraft2, Warcraft3, Starcraft, Torchlight, Age of Empires, Empire Earth, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, Oblivion, Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc and I hope you consider making a map editor for AKfK AND the upcoming AWOK. Keep up the good games, support the customer and hopefully make your games modable and you will be. Modding communities can sell a lot of game. If you can do it, do it. If you can't do mods/editors, I understand. You can't blame us for asking can you? I see you releasing the third expansion for WoK in a few years called "World of Keflings: The Frozen Stone" and you doing a keynote speech at E3 about WoK passing 10 million active users and how Blizzard's dominance of the game market is over.
