Yeah, one of the reasons we didn't do it with Clyde is that there were other videos posted around the net pretty quickly.
Nah, there won't be BoW video before Christmas. Sorry.

The Wikipedia article on Xbox Live Arcade makes some claims about upcoming sim/strategy games. thanks for the pointer I updated it (I'm Wikipedia User SoundOfLight).
As for the person who said that most of those games not being confirmed that's not really true. A few of us have been cleaning house on that list, but I've been busy lately and haven't had time to check it out. I noticed a few actual rumors popped up like Killer Instinct and Zombies ate my neighbor... the rest are actual titles that have been confirmed somewhere. Some may not have been apporved for XBLA yet, or haven't been talked about in a long time Darwinia (last GDC). We just don't have all the confirmation links yet.
Congratulations on CC being in the top 10, but Outpost should have been on there also.

A few of those 2006 games must be getting rather close because the ESRB has the following games already rated
Street Trace NYC
Settlers of Catan
Gyruss
3D Ultra Minigolf
New Rally-X
Cyberball
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Rootbeer Tapper
Paperboy
Something tells me the majority of those titles are the next 3 months of XBLA releases.
Sadly no Bugs of War ESRB yet

Which rules out a US release... but there could always be a SUPER SECRET European or Australia/New Zealand release...FATALITY!

You guys should put up a BoW video on marketplace! No other Xbox Live Arcade game does! It would be cool as a sneak preview or something. I don't know what kind of work is involved in that though.

Thanks for the ESRB tip Hexxagonal. That's got me licking my chops for the next couple months!

Hexxagonal: Dude, nice work on the ESRB research. Did that come straight from the ESRB site or from some other dedicated sleuth?
AC: It turns out doing the marketplace video is a bit hard - they're fairly demanding about the quality and formats and whatnot. That said, I'd love to do one for our next game, and we're at least going to look into it again.
I wonder if we can do a promotional marketplace video for downloadable content. That would be neat, for a significant content package.

That would be nice, especially if there was a significant content package to go with it... Maybe some more OKX, or CC! I think there was one for the GRAW Chapter 2 content pack. That cost more than OKX or CC though...

Now that I check the ESRB web site, there's a some weird stuff. I mean, Outpost Kaloki X's publisher is listed as "Microsoft Game Studios" while Cloning Clyde's publisher is listed as "Wahoo Studios". And they're both listed as appearing on the Xbox. I think someone screwed that one up. Or are they getting Xbox ports? I didn't think Microsoft was releasing any more games on the Xbox's Arcade.

Well, that's basically just a minor shift in how the paperwork was handled for the ESRB submission. We're more formally "the publisher" now, whereas with OKX the terminology was still being defined...
