Why on God's green earth did yall choose an icky brown for the ground dome instead of black?

Haha.. Well, I guess it's supposed to be "earthy". Black would have been a very unlikely choice for us (check it out - we never make anything pure black, and I fight gray as much as I can) but maybe it could have been green...

Hows about for the next theme you have a nice bright pink colour?

Oh yeah, because that will totally help us bring the core gamer demographic into the ninjabee fold...

Forums are mostly black, although RGB 080808 isn't technically "pure black", there are only 7 of the 256 possible grayscale shades less than that And it does have some pure black (000000) though not much.



No, I think green would have not been right either. Yellow and green are only appropriate for Packer colors. Black and yellow look good together. Brown and yellow, less so. My tastes though.

I am not complaining though, you ought to know me better than that by now.

Haha, OK, you got me there.

I was thinking of actual game assets, like in-game characters, environments, etc. Even something that looks black, like a shadow, is almost always something else, like a very dark blue or dark brown. And I think this would apply to themes, since we mostly make them from game art.

But you're right - we do plenty of pure black in logos and UI.
