Hello, everyone. I'm creating this topic for people to post any issues they are experiencing with the new Alien DLC. I'll also be moving any current issues to this topic, so that they're all in one place. Please read through this before posting your issue to see if it has been addressed already. If it has, and no fix/work around has been found, then please feel free to post and let us know how it is affecting you. If a fix/work around isn't working for you, also let us know that.

Hi, I've downloaded the new DLC for Keflings and I can access it fine on my account. However, my wife cannot. It just goes to the loading screen and won't go past it. Any idea on a fix for this?

Hrm, that does sound suspicious. I'll let QA know. Would you answer a couple questions for me?

1. Does your wife have a Live account, and if so is she logged into while attempting to play?

2. Have you switched Xbox's (gotten a new one) since purchasing the original World of Keflings game?

My wife does have a live account just silver and yes she is logged into the service. Keflings was originally downloaded to our console in the basement but I have since done a license transfer with the game to the new console.

I just checked the DLC for my sons account as well and he can't access it either.

Both can access the World of Keflings game from the main console here.

My guess is that the issue has something to do with the silver subscription, and the license transfer. If that is the case it isn't something we can address, as that would be a problem with licenses and Xbox Live. However, I'll pass this along to QA and see if they have any ideas or can figure anything out.

I downloaded the DLC yesterday and the new game I try to create on my profile gets stuck on the loading screen. I noticed that when I go into the Downloadable Content screen after the download, It Came From Outer Space is now listed twice with one of the entries appearing with a check-mark next to it. When I get more details on the check-marked entry, it gives the description for the trial game instead of the DLC info.

I am able to create new DLC games on other profiles on my XBox, including a test profile I created, but ideally I would like to continue my Kefling adventures with my main account.

My profile has an XBox gold membership. I have already tried deleting and re-downloading both the DLC and the main game.

Thanks for sharing those issue. The double DLC message in the Downloads menu is a known problem, and will happen with everyone until fixed. It is only a User interface issue, however, and will not affect the game.

I'm sorry to hear that you are also experiencing the "game not loading" problem, but I'm happy you gave us those details, because that makes me think that maybe onyx62is' issue is perhaps not Xbox Live related. It is still possible that these are different issues, but it is suspicious. QA is looking into it and hopefully we can find out what's going on.

I'm hoping you can find out relatively quickly. My wife was looking forward to playing the DLC. I don't think being silver would be the issue because other games and DLC that I've downloaded are accessible to her.

Here's hoping to hear some good news soon.

Just for verification, did you purchase the original World of Keflings AND the DLC on the same, Gold Account?

Also, did you switch to a different xbox since purchasing a World of Keflings?

I had the same problem as WhiskeyJ79.

The game just stays at the loading screen.
And shows the DLC twice.

And i bought the game and DLC with the same account and on the same Xbox.

Hi , i have buy the dlc today but i have a problem. The game freeze my xbox when i go to the blueprints menu. I have delete and install the game and the dlc, and i have started a new game 2 times. but it doesn't work. The blueprints of the problem is transformer of matter. I can not see the blueprints of the laser disk and i can't go after in the story. (320 MS point for 20 minute playing time is most expansive).

I just beat the DLC and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I beat it in 2:22:40. I'm not sure why so many people are having problems with it.

I just post to say that I've got exactly the same problem as Punt069, in the same part of the game (near the beginning, with the "laser disc" task, when I press RB, the game freezes). And I'm french too, so maybe it's a "french problem".

I downloaded the dlc but do not know how to get to it from my saved game. do I have to start a new game?

You have to start a new game and scroll one to the right or left to access the DLC.
