Just forget it. We all know that if they WERE working on it, they'd be done by now.

Awww..... that was mean! We said we were doing it! First, when you've had a chance to create, test, submit, and release a title update for an Xbox 360 game yourself, then come tell me how we're taking too long. Second, we were waiting a bit to see if any other bugs needed to be fixed in the title update. When you've had a chance to pay for a title update, then come tell me how I didn't rush enough getting it submitted to Microsoft. It's being worked on. Really. I'm sorry it's not done yet.

Thanks for the update on how things are going. Good to hear its still in the works.
I've been reading alot recently about how Microsoft's system works (update wise) and i have to say that while i love my 360 i sure do wish Microsoft would give you developers more wiggle room. Only 1 free update, limited amounts of free content, and all the hoops you guys have to jump through, i never realised how hard they made it. I think we can all appreciate the work you do on getting updates out.

Some news is better then no news. When you are looking for other bugs. Can you check achievements not unlocking for the user but they show up for anyone viewing their gamercard.

Did you get gamerscore credit for it? Does your gamerscore show up one way for you and another way for others viewing your gamercard? Did you get an error message of any kind when the achievement was awarded?

Same thing happened to my gf's account but not with this game. With Portal: Still Alive.
I don't know what the situation was like for the other poster but maybe my story could help here.
I just went to get the link of her account showing this, but apparently, if you are viewing it from XBox.com, it shows she has the score. Her account is MissMegan186 on my friends list if you want to try viewing it from the xbox. If it won't let you from browsing my list, then shoot her a friend request and from your list it will say pending. You should be able to compare games from there.
What happened with her is, I purchased the game on the living room console. She wanted to play it on the one in the bedroom. I redownloaded it on to the second 360 in the other room and booted the game. Then, while midgame, I signed out and then she signed in so I could keep playing what I was playing in the living room.
Now it should have kicked her to the title screen and reverted to a trial but it didn't. We didn't think anything of it. She played for a while and got 8 achievements. Thing is, when you browse to her played games from the 360, it shows 0 of 200 gamerscore. Then if you click on the game, it shows 8 achievements unlocked like normal.
She has tried playing it on the system that owns it but the achievements won't re-unlock. I do have the option to delete the gamerscore from the dashboard since it does total 0, but I am hesitant to do that until I know it will still allow it to unlock normally from there.
Anyway, hopefully my experience will help with figuring out what happened.

When I view it on my profile it says the game is not done but when you look at it, it says it's unlocked. I forget the name of it, but its the one where you turn a guy to stone and break him.

I have over 100 gigs of content on my HDD. It will take hours and hours and hours to recover it No. Your profile is only MB. That is what is recovered. You would delete your profile from the HDD or just unplug your memory unit that contains it. Then you sign in. There won't be a profile there to sign in with so you have two options: Create a profile or recover one. Choose recover. Then it asks for your email and password. It will now download your profile from the xbox servers. Just be sure that you sign in to Live before doing this so the version it recovers is the most recent. Any achievements gained offline prior to checking back in with the Live servers will not be unlocked.

Still plugging away at it. The programmer working on the update hit a technical snag, but we're working on figuring that out.

I checked my profile is 48 megs and the last time I had to recover my gt for the game The Maw it took 7 hours. I have 97gigs of content that MS verifies is mine when you do that.
