Last night after I completely got the 200 out of 200 for this game I saved logged off. Moved my HDD to the other 360 in my daughters room so she could play. Well it wasn't hooked up the the internet, but it would not let me even on to play the game unless I was hooked up the internet. Just wanted you all to know about it. Me an my daughter both still enjoy this game very much. For me it makes me laugh every time she tells me she wants to play the house game.

Is this true?

I am going to disconnect my 360 and try this out.

ETA: Just tried it, it works just fine without being connected to XBOX Live. It just brings up a message that achievements will not be credited until you reconnect to XBOX Live (or something to that effect).

This is an Xbox thing. The games you buy on LIVE Arcade are tied to your account and the xbox they were purchased on. If you want to transfer it to another xbox and play offline or with a different account you have to go online on your pc (on xbox.com) and transfer the license basically. BE CAREFUL though because supposedly you can only do it like once a year or something like that. You'll notice the same behavior with any game purchased.

So that is how that works. No wonder. All this time i thought it was related to the HDD only an not the Xbox if not signed onto live. Thank you YaZeus.

Easiest fix would be to have both Xboxes (is that a word?) connected to the internet. That way you can sign in on both Xboxes and it will allow you to use DLC. Like the poster mentioned above... They tie it to your Xbox (you downloaded it to) and your XBL account you used to download it with. So basically one out of two and your good to go.

Offline with your original Xbox or Online with any other Xbox.
